Jerusalem 26 oktober 2016: With love from the Mount of Olives

The World Zionist Organization (WZO) ( Deseret News 161028: In Jerusalem, Mormon apostles and Jewish leaders like Joe Lieberman remember Orson Hyde prayer.)

Jerusalem 30 oktober 2016: Thoughts on gratitude!
Having a grateful attitude is one of the things that will determine how you live your life. When you choose to be grateful and happy with what you have it opens up for joy and blessings in your life. We often talk about how we should be happy, and fill our life with excitement and positivity but it’s also important to acknowledge and embrace the sadness, boredom and darkness that ALSO is a part of our lives. They go hand in hand and we can sometime experience them at the same time. Or in different periods of life, some times are just more joyous and shimmering then others, and other times are gloomy, bleak and perhaps even pitch black. It’s life and it’s the way it has to be, how would we ever know the difference if we didn’t experience the opposites?
Yesterday when I was just about to end my evening shift (that had gone perfect) a heavy glass jug fell on my head. My first thought was that someone had come in and hit me with a baseball bat. The pain that evolved a second later was something I’ve never felt before, I almost fainted and threw up at the same time- luckily I had time to call on my co worker who rushed to the scene and quickly had me sitting down and put ice on my head. Long story short- I didn’t have to go to the emergency, and after a few hours it was safe for me to fall asleep. I even had the energy to take a selfie, of me with some ice on the bump. This was when I was well enough to hold the ice bag myself. So, today on my day off that I had planned to spend on the beach, I’ve instead been in bed all day- sleeping and reading and contemplated over my current life here in Israel, the people I’ve met, the conflict that is always making itself known, the love I’ve felt, the hateful comments I’ve heard, the sharing and the caring of both good and bad. Life for me at this moment is very different from what I’m used to, this is something I’ve pointed out before and I don’t mean that anything negative- I’m only stating a fact.
Have you ever seen the movie the Village? I’ve seen it twice and I love when they are saying grace- the words ”We are thankful for the time we have been given”. It’s became a part of who I am- and my outlook in life. God has given every living thing on this planet- time- and that’s what we all have in common- as well as the rich and poor, healthy and sick, happy or the sad people- we all have been given a portion of time and I’ve decided to always try to be thankful for the time that’s mine.
So here’s some picture of what I’ve been doing with some of my time here in Israel- a time that consists of 3 more months 😊❤️🇮🇱🙏
